Loyola University Chicago's Cuneo Mansion and Gardens will host a lecture by Barbara Geiger, professor of architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology, regarding the life of famous architect and preservationist Jens Jensen. Jensen is known to many locally as the "Father of The Chicago Park System" due to his role in designing and helping to preserve some of Chicago's finest parks, including Humboldt, Garfield, Douglas and Columbus Park.
